Terms of Service

1. About Denali Park Adventures

Denali Park Adventures operates guided tours, outdoor excursions, and adventure activities in and around Denali National Park, Alaska. References to "Denali Park Adventures," "we," "us," or "our" include our employees, guides, contractors, and agents acting on our behalf.


2. Eligibility

By using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor participating in our activities and that you accept these Terms on their behalf. Certain tours or activities may have minimum age, fitness, or health requirements, which will be specified at the time of booking.


3. Reservations and Bookings

3.1 Making a Reservation

Reservations may be made through our website, by phone, or through authorized third-party booking platforms. A reservation is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us and any required deposit has been received.

3.2 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when making a booking, including participant names, contact details, health information relevant to participation, and emergency contact information. We are not liable for issues arising from inaccurate information you provide.

3.3 Group Bookings

The person making a group reservation agrees to these Terms on behalf of all participants in the group and is responsible for ensuring all participants are informed of and agree to these Terms prior to participation.


4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice prior to booking confirmation. Prices confirmed at the time of booking will be honored. Applicable taxes and fees will be disclosed at checkout.

4.2 Deposit and Full Payment

A deposit may be required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due by the date specified in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your reservation.

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed during checkout. All payments are processed securely through a third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable amount.


5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellations by Guest

Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:



  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the tour date: full refund of amounts paid, less any non-refundable deposit
  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the tour date: 50% refund of the total booking amount
  • Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the tour date: no refund
  • No-shows: no refund


To cancel a reservation, you must contact us in writing at info@denaliparkadventures.com. The date of your written cancellation notice will determine which refund tier applies.

5.2 Cancellations by Denali Park Adventures

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any tour due to:


  • Unsafe weather or trail conditions
  • Insufficient participant enrollment
  • Circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
  • Safety concerns identified before or during the tour



If we cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid or the option to reschedule. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by guests in connection with a cancelled tour.

5.3 Modifications

Requests to modify a booking (date changes, number of participants, etc.) are subject to availability and may be subject to additional fees. Please contact us as early as possible to discuss changes.


6. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

6.1 Nature of Activities

Outdoor adventure activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: rough terrain, extreme weather, wildlife encounters, physical exertion, equipment failure, and other natural and man-made hazards. These risks cannot be fully eliminated even with proper care and professional guidance.

6.2 Assumption of Risk

By booking and participating in any Denali Park Adventures tour or activity, you voluntarily acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participation, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, including the risk of serious injury, death, or property damage.

6.3 Release and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Denali Park Adventures, its owners, officers, employees, guides, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of your participation in our activities, including claims arising from our negligence. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Denali Park Adventures from any claims brought by third parties arising from your actions during participation.

6.4 Signed Waiver Required

All participants are required to sign a separate liability waiver and assumption of risk agreement prior to participation. This requirement applies to all members of your party, including minors (signed by a parent or legal guardian). Failure to sign the waiver will result in exclusion from the activity with no refund.


7. Health, Safety, and Participant Conduct

7.1 Health Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that you and any participants in your group are physically and medically fit to participate in the booked activity. If you have any medical conditions, disabilities, or concerns, please disclose them at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any person whose health or physical condition, in our guide's judgment, poses a risk to themselves or others.

7.2 Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:



  • Follow guide instructions at all times
  • Respect wildlife, vegetation, and the natural environment
  • Comply with all applicable laws and National Park Service regulations
  • Treat fellow participants and staff with respect
  • Refrain from consuming alcohol or controlled substances before or during activities


We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour at any time for unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior, without refund.

7.3 Equipment and Gear

Guests are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and personal gear as specified in pre-trip communications. Any equipment provided by Denali Park Adventures must be returned in the same condition as received, reasonable wear excepted. You may be charged for damage to or loss of rented equipment.


8. Photography and Media

You grant Denali Park Adventures a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs, videos, or other media captured during our tours in which you appear, for promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website and social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide before the activity begins. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.


9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and tour descriptions, is the property of Denali Park Adventures or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.


10. Third-Party Booking Platforms

Some bookings may be made through third-party platforms (e.g., Viator, TripAdvisor Experiences, or similar services). In those cases, the platform's own terms and conditions may also apply. Denali Park Adventures is not responsible for the policies or practices of third-party platforms.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Denali Park Adventures's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific tour or activity giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.


12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Anchorage, Alaska. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the courts of the State of Alaska.


14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
