Because guiding off-trail tours takes a high level of skill and experience, very few companies offer them. That is also why availability is limited. Bookings are first come, first served, so it is worth checking your dates early rather than leaving them to the end of your trip planning.

Who This Tour Is For

Moderate difficulty. Four hours on your feet, off-trail, over uneven ground with some minor bushwhacking. Want a shorter day at an easier grade? The 3-hour Naturalist Tour covers the same boreal forest. Want more climbing? Into the Mountains is the 5-hour strenuous option. Trekking poles and rain jackets are provided.
