Denali Tours by Activity
Most tours run in the wilderness surrounding Denali National Park. No park permits or park entrance fees required, just the landscape, a guide who knows it well, and however much time you have.
ATV Tours
Ride side-by-sides or single ATVs through creek beds, tundra, and boreal forest - terrain the park bus never reaches. No experience needed. First-timers and seasoned riders both welcome.
Flightseeing Tours
Fixed-wing and helicopter flights over the Alaska Range. The Glacier Landing tour puts you down on the glacier, not just over it. For guests who want to see Denali at a scale that changes how they think about Alaska.
Zipline Tours
Seven lines, six sky bridges, and more than half a mile of total zip through the boreal forest canopy. Ends with a side-by-side dual racer. Soar through the trees and over the tundra.
Jeep Tours
A 100-mile guided drive on the Denali Highway. CB radio narration throughout. Open windows for photography. Scenic tour, low physical demand, right for guests who want to cover serious ground.
Rafting Tours
Two options: Wilderness Wave (scenic canyon float, family-friendly) or Canyon Wave (Class III–IV rapids for guests who want the river to get their attention). Dry suit, helmet, and guide included on both.
Hiking Tours
Guided hikes led by naturalists from Northern Epics, ranging from easy-moderate walks to challenging alpine routes. Guests describe it as one of the most educational things they did on their Alaska trip.

These tours are not inside the national park
All activities operate in the wilderness surrounding the park, no park road, no entrance fee, no bus pass required. You can do a full day of activities within steps of Denali National Park.
Most tours run 2 to 5 hours
ATV, Zipline, and Rafting all run under 4 hours. The Jeep tour is 4 to 5 hours. Many guests fit two to four shorter activities into a single day.
No passport needed. Denali is 4 hours from Anchorage
Alaska is a US state, fully covered by US cell service and accessible by road, rail, or air. The drive from Anchorage to Denali on the Parks Highway takes approximately 4 hours. Denali is also a stop on the Alaska Railroad.

Do these tours go inside Denali National Park?
No. All Denali Park Adventures tours and activities operate in the wilderness surrounding the national park, not on the park road and not requiring park entrance fees or bus passes. You can do a full day of tours without any contact with the national park's visitor infrastructure.
Which tour is best for first-time visitors?
Most first-timers start with the Wilderness ATV Tour or the Denali Park Zipline. Both are beginner-friendly, run under 3 hours, and have a strong track record of becoming the highlight of a trip. If you want a full-day experience with low physical demand, the Denali Highway Jeep Tour covers the most ground without any strenuous activity.
Can guests with limited mobility or fitness concerns participate?
Most tours accommodate a wide range of guests. The ATV side-by-sides, Jeep tours, and most flightseeing options have minimal physical requirements. Rafting involves getting in and out of a raft from a river bank. Hiking tours are rated by difficulty. If there's a specific concern, call before booking, the team will tell you honestly which tours are a good match and which aren't.
