What Is the Denali National Park Bus Tour?

Denali National Park has one road: 92 miles running from the park entrance west to the Kantishna area. Private vehicles are permitted only on the first 15 miles (to Savage River). Beyond that, all access is via NPS buses. The bus tour is a narrated ride on this road, a window into the park interior with an NPS driver and naturalist

NPS Bus vs. Private Denali Tours

NPS Bus: Best for guests who specifically want access to the national park road and the park interior. Long days on a bus (up to 13 hours for the full Kantishna route). Park entrance fee required.
