DENALI JEEP EXCURSIONS
A guided wilderness drive through 100+ miles of tundra, braided rivers, and Alaska Range peaks on the highway National Geographic called the #2 Drive of a Lifetime. Expert narration the whole way. Hotel pickup included.

THE DENALI HIGHWAY JEEP TOUR
The Denali Highway stretches more than 100 miles through open backcountry, tundra flats, glacially braided rivers, and the full sweep of the Alaska Range. It is one of the least-traveled major roads in North America. You cover it in a guided convoy of 4-door Jeeps, with a local guide narrating every mile over CB radio. This is a scenic, educational wilderness drive. Guests sit in comfortable Jeeps, move at a relaxed pace, and stop where the landscape earns it.

I would thoroughly recommend this experience
This was an amazing trip, our guides were very knowledgeable and kept in touch with the convoy via CB radio, informing us on the history of the terrain we were travelling over. There were numerous stops to view the spectacular scenery as well as spot wildlife. The vehicle was warm and comfortable with binoculars supplied to enhance the viewing. I would thoroughly recommend this experience.

I totally recommend this tour, you will love it!
This tour was one of the best experiences of out trip! The guides we had, Tommy and Rick, were so incredibly fun and knowledgeable, I learned a TON about Alaska and you could tell they both had a true passion for the land and they shared it in the most fun way. The jeeps were in great condition too. The scenery was amazing and awe inspiring. I totally recommend this tour, you will love it!

Absolutely a must do!
Absolutely a must do! We chose the evening tour, and as it cooled down, the wildlife appeared! We had about 6 jeeps in our group with a tour guide in front and back of the line of multicolored jeeps. Our tour was along the Denali Hwy, and our tour guides easily kept us together and all of us on the lookout for wildlife. There were "scheduled" stops along the way and then stops for wildlife sightings. The Jeeps were new 2019 vehicles, and everyone had the opportunity to drive. Unexpected fun excursion, highly recommended.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BOOK
Real answers to the questions guests ask most before booking.
How long is the Denali highway jeep tour?
Approximately 4-5 hours, covering 100+ miles round trip on the Denali Highway. Total time depends on stops, wildlife activity, and departure time. Plan for a half-day.
WHAT IS THE 5% CLUB?
Denali's full summit is only visible when the mountain completely clears of clouds, roughly 1 in 20 visits. Guides watch for clearing conditions throughout the drive. Even on a cloudy day, the drive is extraordinary.
CAN I JUST DRIVE THE DENALI HIGHWAY MYSELF?
You can. It's a public road. But a guided tour reveals a completely different landscape through local knowledge explaining geology, wildlife, and history in real time. Guests who have driven it both ways consistently say the guided version transforms the experience.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND BRING?
Dress in layers. Temperatures on the open highway shift quickly. Wind-resistant jacket, closed-toe shoes, insect repellent, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and water. Tundra walks involve uneven terrain.
READY TO DRIVE THE DENALI HIGHWAY?
Tours fill as summer progresses. Morning and evening departures book weeks in advance.
