Fly Denali take you on the only scenic flight offered from the Denali National Park entrance area that lets you stand on one of Denali’s (formerly Mt. McKinley) pristine glaciers! The tour departs from the Healy River Airport and takes you soaring over 80 miles of the beautiful, untouched scenery of Denali National Park. With 100 minutes of flight time, passengers can anticipate incredible sights like: glacial erratics; the Polychrome Mountains; various glaciers, including the infamous Muldrow and Ruth Glaciers; and, of course, the “High One,” Denali itself.
You’ll begin your descent down into the Great Gorge of the Ruth Glacier, the world’s deepest gorge, where the Ice Age will come alive! Fly between the rocky cliffs of the Moose’s Tooth and Mt. Dickey before making your final approach over deep crevasses into the Ruth Amphitheater. Once you touch down safely and smoothly, thanks to expert pilots, enjoy a 20–30 minute stay a mere 11 miles away from the base of Denali, North America’s highest peak. Here you can enjoy views of the infamous Don Sheldon Mountain House, relax while breathing in the fresh, alpine air, or start a friendly snowball fight with family members or fellow passengers! The tour ends with an exciting departure out of the Ruth Amphitheater where you’ll head back to our airport over the park for one last glimpse of the grandeur you can only witness by airplane.

If Fly Denali decides to cancel a tour due to weather or safety concerns, we will offer our passengers the opportunity to reschedule to a later date, or time or accept a full refund. Further, due to the ever-changing weather over the Denali National Park and Alaska Range, flights are not determined “canceled” until 1-hour prior to departure time.
If you or your party needs to cancel, Fly Denali requires a 72-hour notice to refund. With this notice, Fly Denali offers a full refund minus a $25 cancellation fee.If you or your party cancels within the 72 hour period prior to your tour time, the tour is non-refundable.
Children should be 2 years old or older.
We offer complimentary transportation to all of our passengers to and from anywhere in the Denali and Healy area. Pick-up times vary by location, so please give us at least a 24-hour notice if you will need our shuttle service.
